we are looking for
iOS Developer Intern
We are currently looking for enthusiastic and skilled iOS Developer Interns to join our Product development department and provide creative ideas and development work to help achieve specific product goals for iOS applications in the software industry. Someone who is also looking for an opportunity to find a good fit with our growing company, and is seeking an opportunity to be converted into a full-time employee.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, maintain clean, and clever swift codes
- Able to build APIs
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of iOS applications
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to address and mitigate these problems
- Work with the company’s AI team and provide insights into key Machine Learning algorithms for the product
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization of the iOS application
- Apply understandings of mobile, and native apps (iOS)
- Collaborate with other developers and designers to help define, build, and deliver new features in the iOS application
- You will spend a lot of your time building iOS apps, efficiently coding in Swift. This includes new feature development, architecture, writing unit tests, refactors, and bug/crash fixes
- Work in the development team to build basic algorithms for in-app metrics tracking and user adoption tools
- Share responsibilities such as app architecture/design reviews, code reviews, performance tuning, and build pipeline management
- Own and deliver all your tasks, small must-do tasks to larger, complex projects with many moving parts
- Share your opinions and help shape our technical direction, best practices, product ideas, and team processes. Your inputs are most valuable.
Expectations in the first week
- Understand the various practices and processes followed in the team.
- Familiarize yourself with the different stacks and products.
Expectations in the first month
- Build a codebase using native iOS for one product feature.
- Document and run tests to enhance product performance.
Expectations in the first six months
- Take feedback and improve the codebase for future upgrades.
- Lead development initiatives for other features.
Experience & Skills
Basic
- You are pursuing a BS or MS in Computer Science or related technical field
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming design & development concepts
- Previous experience with Xcode and Swift/Objective-C
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and debugging skills
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced startup environment
- Solid coding chops, code design skills, and practitioner of mobile development best practices – including object-oriented design principles; design pattern usage; writing modular, reusable, testable code; data structures; concurrency; performance profiling and tuning
- Developing proficiency in Swift, Cocoa Touch, Xcode, CocoaPods, git, etc. – the skills and tools needed to build iOS apps.
- Developing proficiency in Java, JavaScript, Node.js, Angular (v7 or higher), PHP, Laravel, MongoDB, etc. – the skills and tools needed to build strong websites and mobile apps backend APIs.
- Great communicator, adaptable, supportive, hard-working, and has a great sense of humor.
- Loves to learn new things about programming each day.

- Experience working remotely and coordinating tech initiatives with different teams to deliver projects.
- Worked at any stage startup or have developed projects of their own ideas.
- Strong knowledge of software development approaches, principles, and flows
- Experience working on large, complex web and mobile apps
- Ability to create and maintain smooth continuous integration and continuous delivery pipeline of ios applications
- Understanding of iOS best principles and design aesthetics
- A positive mindset and continuous-learning attitude
- Stay updated with new updates, technologies, and news of ios
- Ability to solve issues and contribute to libraries as and when needed
- Experience working in an agile development environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to communicate strategy
- Familiarity with modern front-end tools and building pipelines
- A collaborative approach to build apps and solve complex problems
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Client-focused approach with a goal of creating user-centric designs
- Good interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to write clean, well-documented code that follows good coding practices
